Welcome to PARN Ireland! Below you will find information on PARN research, publications, events and membership in Ireland.
Research
In 2009, PARN undertook our third International Benchmarking Survey (IBS) – a comprehensive triennial survey of professional bodies, covering the areas of regulation, governance, membership, operations, CPD, ethics and external relations. The 2009 IBS gathered information from professional bodies in Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada and Singapore. For more information on this survey, which includes a FREE summary of findings across countries, click here.
PARN’s Member Networks research gathered information from professional body members on their opinions on virtual and face to face networks – your branches, groups and social networking tools such as Facebook and LinkedIn. The survey was run with 26 participants. For more information of the publication based on this research, Social Networking; its benefits and challenges for professional bodies, email Sarah Ellis at sarah@parnglobal.com.
In 2008, PARN undertook a study on approaches to continuing professional development measurement for the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The report was published by IFAC and informed a PARN event in Dublin on June 17 2009.
