Join us for an engaging online webinar, presented in partnership with PARN and the Accreditation SIG.

In this seminar, Dr. Thomas Lancaster, a Senior Teaching Fellow at Imperial College London, will delve into the fascinating world of ChatGPT. He will address the challenges posed by AI and contract cheating, shedding light on how higher education institutions (HEIs) tackle these issues to uphold academic integrity and standards. Dr. Lancaster will also explore the vital role played by Professional, Regulatory, and Statutory Bodies (PRSBs) in accreditation, highlighting their adaptive processes to ensure HEIs continue to meet professional body standards.

Additionally, Professor Ian Turner, a Professor of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Derby, will be joining us. Professor Turner will share insights from his involvement in the newly formed "Generative AI" working group, contributing to the Provost Learning and Teaching at the university. He will discuss the working group's objectives and the strategies they are implementing to safeguard students' assessments from the potential impacts of AI technology. This seminar promises to be an enlightening experience, bringing together experts and educators to explore the intricate relationship between AI, academic integrity, and the evolving landscape of higher education. Don't miss the opportunity to gain valuable insights and contribute to the discussion.
