The Society is a not-for-profit organisation and is the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of homeopathy in the UK. We are a membership organisation with just under 1,200 members, overseen by a Board of Directors.

The staff team deliver membership services and support members to maintain professional standards. The Professional Standards Authority accredits our register of members. We also work hard to raise public awareness of, and appreciation for homeopathy.

About the role

We seek to appoint an exceptional person to join the Society as a Chief Executive who will help achieve our vision of excellence.

We are looking for an individual who brings relevant experience, skills and passion to drive forward our strategic agenda.

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the strategic plan, managing the staff team and reporting to the Board. Experience of the not for profit sector and an interest in our sector of healthcare are vital.

The work is varied and interesting; there is daily contact by telephone with the public, Society members, the Board of Directors and other organisations, as the office also acts as an information service for the public and media.
