Remuneration: Committee members will be entitled to a fee of £340 per day for attendance at meetings, plus reasonable expenses. There is an additional allowance for Chairmen.

Role Description

CIMA is seeking applications for its independent conduct committees (Investigation, Disciplinary and Appeal) from lay members (non-accountants).

Applications are invited from people with a strong sense of justice, who have the ability to consider complex issues logically and impartially and who have the confidence to promote an independent view at meetings and public hearings.

The time commitment is likely to be between seven and ten days a year. Committee members will be entitled to a fee of £340 per day for attendance at meetings, plus reasonable expenses. There is an additional allowance for Chairmen. Induction training will be provided.
