About the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion SIG
In reponse to the Black Lives Matter campaign, PARN have created a new EDI Special Interest Group (SIG). Our aim is for staff of professional bodies to learn from experts in their fields at regular online events, gain access to a wealth of relevant resources, and support each other in tackling EDI issues within their organisations.
We are delighted to have a Steering Group who bring such passion and experience to the SIG:
Noorzaman Rashid, Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors
Mary Aluko, Chartered Institute of Housing
Sarah Beacock, Nuclear Institute
Paul Murtagh, Education and Training Foundation
Lily Roff, PARN
The inaugural meeing of the EDI SIG is taking place on 14th October 11am-12pm.
We encourage all interested parties to join this event, to learn from an incredible key speaker, and hear from the Steering Group who will introduce the structure of the SIG and indentify the benefits and costs of becoming a SIG member. We hope this meeting demonstrates the value of joining the SIG and inspires you to join, so you can better tackle EDI issues within your organisation.
Please visit our Events Page for more information and to register.
Directory of Resources:
A key aim of the SIG is to signpost members to additional learning resources to help inspire them into action.
PARN have created a Directory of Resources which can be accessed here.
