Consultation Results on PBS SME’s Views on PBSC Purpose
The Professional & Business Services Council (PBSC) is the main independent forum for the Professional & Business Services (PBS) sector and the UK Government, working together to promote the long-term success of the sector in the UK and globally.
Andy Friedman, PARN’s Founder and CEO, is proud to be a member of the PBSC and find his participation highly valuable. Before Christmas, the PBSC consulted SMEs, in the PBS sector via their trade bodies and professional associations, including PARN, to poll their views on the PBSC’s purpose and remit and has now published the results of the consultation.
The core messages are:
· Whilst not all respondents had heard of the PBSC, almost all were supportive of its aims and purpose
· SMEs would like to receive more communication on PBSC activity
· SMEs’ primary ask of the PBSC and the government: more direct support related to skills and technology development
PARN is delighted to be featured on the final page of the document with a photo from a launch event of one of PARN’s research publications.
