CPD Forum | 11th March 2024 | London

Join us at the first CPD Forum of 2024. London; SW1P 2AP

The first CPD Forum of 2024 is going to be in person and is a great opportunity to come together with others who are in the field and interested in Continued Professional Development.

In-person meetings are great because of the open discussion that can develop between delegates and speakers so we really hope you will join us.

Kimmie Walker from Royal Town Planning Institute will be presenting the findings of the Ask The Network survey which ran November 2023.

The ATN looked at CPD Recording practices and the methods of encouraging members to record their own CPD. The results aimed to shed light on how professional bodies have been monitoring CPD records and looking at benchmarking strategies across the sector, along with illustrating the use of CPD from third party providers and how many hours of CPD members are mandated to complete.

The presentation of the findings will then be followed by an open discussion where delegates can ask questions about the results and RTPI will pose some questions back to the delegates in order to dig deeper and uncover more valuable insights.

Amanda Rosewarne from CPD Standards will then be looking to share some of the CPD Research Project 2023 analysis that forms part of a whitepaper to be circulated in the near future.

A fantastic opportunity to be ahead of the masses and find out about the first round of results on surveys that (anonymous) professional bodies completed, plus over 500 learners of the correct perspectives of CPD. This is also going to touch on the very current issue of the impact of the cost of living on accessing CPD activities.

Tina Russell and Dr. Jim Baxter will be joining us to discuss how ethics can be used within CPD and a module that has been created, ideal for the Sector.

Refreshments will be available.

As always, the CPD Forum is open to both Members and non-members.

Free to attend to all PARN Member organisations and for others, a single payment of £240 secures a place at all 2024 CPD Forums. Please contact Rhiannon by clicking here if you would like to join the CPD Forum or have any issues registering for the event or logging-in.
